The Path That Led Us Here
Our Story
For more than 30 years, we’ve stood beside survivors in Cullman County—offering safety, shelter, and support in the face of domestic violence. Established in 1991 as Victim Services of Cullman, our organization has grown from a single crisis response effort into a full-service agency providing emergency shelter, counseling, legal advocacy, prevention education, and long-term support.
In 2025, we stepped into a new chapter as The Willow Path—a name that honors the resilience of survivors and the journey of healing they take. The willow represents strength, flexibility, and growth. The path represents movement forward—toward safety, stability, and hope.
Though our name has changed, our mission has not. We are still the same trusted team, walking with survivors every step of the way.
