About Us

At The Willow Path, we walk alongside survivors of domestic violence with compassion, advocacy, and unwavering support. What began in 1991 as Victim Services of Cullman has grown into a trusted community resource dedicated to safety, healing, and hope. For more than three decades, we have stood beside survivors and their families, meeting them where they are and helping them take the next steps toward safety and stability.

Over the years, our work has expanded to reflect the needs of survivors in Cullman County. From our emergency shelter that provides immediate safety, to counseling and case management that foster healing, to court advocacy that ensures survivors are never alone in the legal system, to prevention and outreach programs that plant seeds of change in the next generation—we have grown stronger and more responsive with every passing year.

In 2025, we became The Willow Path, a name that reflects resilience and the unique journeys of every survivor we serve.
